What is an SSL Certificate? An SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) certificate, also known as a Digital Certificate, encrypts the connection between your website and your visitors' browsers. When active, your website address will start with HTTPS instead of HTTP, and a padlock icon will appear in the browser address bar to show the site is secure.
Note: SSL certificates are now installed automatically by the server and do not require any action from the user. However, if for any reason the certificate is not installed, follow the instructions below to complete the installation.

- Every WEBZIM Hosting account includes a free SSL certificate to ensure your website is secure and trusted by search engines.

How to Install Your Free SSL Certificate
- Log In: Access your cPanel dashboard.
- Open Let's Encrypt: Scroll down to the Security section and click on Let's Encrypt™ SSL.
- Find Your Domain: Scroll down to the Issue a new certificate section.
- Initiate Issuance: Locate your domain name in the list and click the + Issue link next to it.
- Configure Subdomains: * Ensure the checkbox for "Add cPanel subdomains" (which includes cpanel, webmail, and webdisk) is ticked.
- Leave all other default boxes ticked as they are.

- To Exit: Click the cPanel logo in the top-left corner to return to the main dashboard, or simply Logout.
